Best airline for children traveling alone within U.S?
SJ k asked:
Hi. I’m 17 and i will be traveling alone from Birmingham, Alabama to Boston, Massachusetts from 7/13 to 8/9, but priceline tells me that all airlines have different policies for children under 18 traveling alone. I’m fine with any airline, but I am traveling on a budget and looking for a cheap flight. If you have any experience or knowledge on this topic, please let me know!

Delta. They are nice to younger ones and they have a say, they love children. My best friends mom works for Delta . She know all about it. Hope this helped

i’m fourteen and i’ve been flying by myself to europe every year since i was 8.
this year i’m going on delta but they’re making my mom pay 100 to get someone to watch over me. but that’s for kids 14 and under.
if you think you’re capable of flying without the “unattended minor” policy (where someone follows you around- ps it gets really annoying after the age of 13) then go to an airline where you’re treated like an adult
delta says kids 14-17 can get help if requested.
so that’s a good one for u b/c you can choose if you want assistance or not

jet blue! it’s the best airline i’ve ever flown with period. i’ve been flying with them alone ever since the age of 6. i’ve never had a problem with them. the flight attendants are awesome! they’ll even give you free snacks and box lunches if you get on their good side! if you fly alone as a minor, they let you watch the selected movie without paying and hell, there’s a personal tv on the back of every headrest. you don’t even need a carry on with that kind of entertainment!
good luck!

Frontier also has TV, but I don’t know if they fly through your cities. Air tran has free XM radio which is also entertaining. Good Luck
