Cheap Airline Flights – rates tickets price

learn about cheap airline flights

if I saw a cheap flight on cheaptickets.com, do I need to purchase it from that site?

mommy2be! asked:

Would I need to pay for it through the site to get it at that price,(I have no idea how that works!) Or can I call the airlines & purchase it through them for the same price? thanks!

What cheaptickets does is buy those tickets in bulk from the airlines then sell them at their own rate. You most likely won’t be able to get it from the airline at that price because the whole point of cheaptickets is to be the “better bargain” next to the airlines and other travel sites. I just recently went through cheaptickets and they were awesome… plus I saved like $400 going through them! Good luck with your travel planning!

Be careful of crap like that. It may be legetimate, but you get what you pay for. You will be on the crappiest flight EVER. You would be better off on a MAC flight in the cargo bay with the animals. The WEB sucks, and is for suckers.

As other’s have said, you can call the airline and get the ticket from them. I wouldn’t say the internet ***** for airfare. I’ve gotten many tickets off of airfare sites and haven’t had a problem with it at all. You just have to be careful who you’re shopping with. Some places try and rip you off by showing a low initial price and jacking it up with fees. Check out. They list which airfare sites are more expensive than others based off of some research, and have direct links to a lot of the sites right off of their webpage. Hope this helps.

Cheap Tickets contracts with the airlines for lower fares. They do not have lower fares on all flights. Sometimes the flights Cheap Tickets offers are cheaper than the airline can offer you.

It is best to check the airline website as well as several other discount sites like orbitz, travelocity, etc. If the fare is the same, purchase it from the airlines, you will probably save service charges. If it is cheaper elsewhere, purchase it there.

    Hope this helps.

Just take the flight info and check other sites to see if they come up with the same flight but cheaper.
