Is there a place to buy discounted tickets for southwest airlines? What are all the discount sites for airfare

Mr & Mrs G asked:

Orbitz, expedia, priceline, and travelocity don’t list southwest airlines. I am trying to find the cheapest flight from Baltimore to Reno. It doesn’t havet o be southwest, but they allow 2 free checked bags. What are other discount airfare sites?

Southwest does not sell tickets on any website other than their own. If you want to fly Southwest, you have to buy directly from them or from a travel agent.

You can also try kayak.com. Kayak does not sell tickets, but it shops many other websites and combines the results into one list. You can then go to the website with the lowest price to buy.

will check all of the rest for you. It covers Kayak, Orbitz, Cheaptickets, airlines direct, consolidators, discounters, sale fares, aggregators, site-scrapers, etc. etc. all in 1 go, with no additional booking fees. It’s a huge time saver.

Southwest does not appear on anyone else’s web site. Sometimes it pays to look at Wikipedia website and see who flies there. There is only one non-stop destination from Reno Airport to the East Coast, and that is Atlanta. You will have to change flights.

For that flight, I doubt that anyone will beat Southwest.

I don’t think you will get much lower than $446 (round trip)
