It takes place in September and early October. So, check cheap fare websites such as Travelocity and Expedia.
You can sometimes get good deals very early on, and, at other times, get good deals at the last minute, if the airlines have availability they want to get rid of.
Make sure you are fully aware of the cancellation/refund restrictions before booking a ticket.

I would presume you mean for next year? I believe the “true” Oktoberfest is over. (It starts in Sept.) I would start booking 6-9 months in advance
