US Airways, Eva Air, Air UK
Delta is the worst. Their international flights are operated by China Air and Korea Air who both are at the top of the list as far as unsafe airlines.

Aer Lingus flies direct from Cork to Nice, and they have some pretty reasonable rates.
You might also try flying one of the discount airlines (RyanAir, EasyJet, etc) and connecting in the middle. If you can get a good deal on one leg, it may work out cheaper overall. Skyscanner.net does a good job of searching the discounters for this kind of thing.
