Look at kayak.com they will have all the last minute flights listed from dozens of other websites
If there is large deployment chances are the seats are already sold out.You may get lcuky driving 100 or so miles from the base where you live if there are more seats.
Or land 100 miles away and rent a car if there is nothing affordable close.
List the cities and the flight dates and someone should be able to tell u where to go to get a good fare.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
