Try for a promotion code to American Airlines.
As for cheap tickets to travel around Christmas time, that will be hard to find. It might be cheaper to fly on Christmas Day but any dates around Christmas will be hard to find.
As for lowest ticket prices, it is better to go to the airline’s website because they sometimes have specials that the travel websites do not have. Some airlines such as Delta guarantee you will not find a lower ticket price for a Delta flight other than on their own website.
