You can comparison shop with a travel search engine, like Expedia:
For example, the best one-way fare from LED to LAX on 9/04 will be $638 with Air Berlin (it’s a great new airline).

Try Skyscanner, they show the fares for each day in any given month on a bar chart so its easy to find the cheapest, heres a link
