Budget airlines are:
Air Asia
Nok Air
One-2-Go is low cost airline ( fixed low cost fares, sometimes more than Nok Air or Air Asia, sometimes higher )
Cheapest seats get sold off first. You can put in flight dares on Air Asia, Nok Air and One-2-Go and see which has the cheapest fare available on the day you want to travel.
Remember fares are based on 1 way, so before booking a return check fares for return dates with the others, it might be cheaper flying one way with one and return with another.
air asia definetly cheapest. if you can book a couple of weeks in advance its silly prices even if not it used to cost me .. about £40 to go bangkok to phuket ro krabi? remember to check baggage allowance though the low cost airlines not as much as the long haul you may be just getting off! enjoy

Hi, I just checked Airasia for you and their price at the moment one way leaving Bangkok at 2120 is 1500 baht which includes taxes.
Hope that helps.
As for taking pictures on plane, we are all asked to turn off all electronic equipment during take off and landing, check with flight attendant.
